The Nissan Leaf has one 90kW motor. It’s a brushless motor, making the Nissan leaf the first main stream brushless car to be on the US market. Hybrid car’s such as the Prius use brushless motors but this will be the first vehicle in the US market to be driven solely by a brushless motor.
